Bereavement Services

The experience of grief is unique to everyone, but learning about grief and sharing your experience with others can provide comfort after the loss of a loved one. Our bereavement services take survivors through a step-by-step journey toward reassurance, understanding, acceptance and healing. NorthCare Hospice & Palliative Care staff is available throughout the course of care, assisting patients and family members with issues of grief and loss.

A full complement of bereavement services is offered to family or caregivers for up to 13 months following the patient’s death.
