EventsVolunteer Coffee Hour Fellowship, share inspiring stories, invite potential volunteers, and make new friends. Date: 3rd Wednesday of every month. Time: 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Coffee and Danishes will be provided. Location: NorthCare Hospice, 2900 Clay Edwards Drive, North Kansas City, MO 64116. Across from the ER entrance of NKC Hospital. Volunteer opportunities: Respite care, friendly visits, errands, light housekeeping, video editing, video filming, office support, teen program, no one dies alone program and volunteer in the Hospice House. Volunteer Trainings on-site and off site: Drinks, snacks and lunch will be provided. Whether you are a retiree or a teenager-you will make a difference in a patient and their family’s life-and in return, get so much! Additional training sites can be planned to provide easier access for everyone in the communities we serve.
